These awards, sponsored by insurance giant AXA, are open to anyone in the recruitment industry, HR or training departments of businesses across the greater Bristol area.
There are 12 categories ranging from the Best Recruitment Initiative, to the Young Achiever Award and the Best Recruitment Ad Campaign. They will offer everyone involved in recruitment a unique opportunity to have their contribution recognised and rewarded.

Best Recruitment Consultant
This award will go to in person who in the opinion of the judges, has delivered a campaign within the agreed time-frames, has achieved targets and key performance indicators. Maintained regular contact with his or her client base as well as providing solutions when positions have proved hard to fill.
Shown initiative in this current market to grow revenue by actively sourcing new ways to increase client base

Outstanding Achievement
This award will go to the businessman or businesswoman who, in the opinion of the judges, has made a considerable, profitable and lasting contribution to the business over a period of at least 10 years.
No submission is required as this award will be shortlisted by the Editor of Bristol and News and Media |

Best Recruitment Consultancy
For the recruitment team who, in the judges’ opinion, work well together, take collective responsibility, cope with difficult issues arising during the campaign and consistently achieve their business targets.
Please outline in no more than 500 words how the team is structured, how ideas are developed and how it works together to reach it goals. You should explain how its work has contributed to the company’s results. You should include up to three examples of initiatives taken, measurments of success and unique selling points against the competition |

Best Training and Retention Scheme
This award is to recognise employers who can be recognised for commitment to the training and development of it’s people, and have developed voluntary employees benefits strategies and schemes that deliver high value in terms of employee attraction and retention.
Please outline in no more than 500 words your company’s training scheme explaining the objectives and how results are measured. Explaining the benefits provided and evidence of its value to staff retention. |

Young Achiever
This award will go to the person, who in the opinion of the judges, has made a considerable contribution to the business and show the potential for career progression. The nominated person must be 25 or under as of October 2009 and have worked for your company for a minimum of 12 months.
Please outline in no more than 500 words why you think this person should win Young Achiever Award, giving examples of their work. Please ensure that you include date of birth of the entry. Should your submission be shortlisted then their Manager/Director will be required to present to the judges. |

Best Corporate Responsibility Award
This award recognises the contribution a company makes to society through its core business activities, its social investment and engagement in public policy whilst showing evidence of diversity in the work place.
Please outline in no more than 500 words why you think you should win this award whilst showing examples of initiatives and how the community has benefited. |

Best Recruitment Initiative :
Public Sector, Private Sector
and
Small Business
For the individual, team or organisation from public sector that can demonstrate success from a recruitment initiative.
Please outline in no more than 500 words your recruitment initiative including the concept, issues which arose, implementation, improvement to the business, the number of staff involved and its overall success.
You may accompany your entry with a maximum of three examples of the promotion used to support the initiative. |

Best Recruitment Campaign through an Advertising Agency
This award will be judged on the media used, the campaign’s visual impact, its originality and creativity and whether it promoted a corporate image. Advertising campaign must have run between September 2008 – August 31st 2009.
Please outline in no more than 500 words how the campaign was created, who was involved how it developed and how well it met the needs of the client in delivering new staff. You may include up to three examples from the campaign. |

This award will go to the best in-house recruitment individual, team or HR department who, in the judges’ opinion, work well together, take collective responsibility, cope with the Human Resource issue’s effectively and look at new and imaginative idea’s for recruiting high calibre of staff in line with company goals.
Please outline in no more than 500 words how the individual, team/department is structured, how ideas are developed and evidence of the contribution made to the companies retention of staff. |

This Award will go to the organisation that can best demonstrate in a challenging market that through well-adopted company values, the provision of stimulating, flexible and supportive workplaces and the active development of all employees it has applied its human and supporting resources to achieve commercial success. |
