These awards, sponsored by insurance giant AXA, are open to anyone in the recruitment industry, HR or training departments of businesses across the greater Bristol area.
There are 12 categories ranging from the Best Recruitment Initiative, to the Young Achiever Award and the Best Recruitment Ad Campaign. They will offer everyone involved in recruitment a unique opportunity to have their contribution recognised and rewarded.

Best Recruitment Consultant
This award will go to the person who, in the opinion of the judges, has delivered a campaign within agreed time-frames, has achieved targets and maintained regular contact with his or her clients as well as providing solutions when positions have proved hard to fill.

LifeTime Achievement
This award will go to the businessman or businesswoman who, in the opinion of the judges, has made a considerable, profitable and lasting contribution to the business over a period of at least 20 years.
Please outline in no more than 500 words why you think this person should win the Lifetime Achievement Award, giving examples of their achievements. |

Best Recruitment Consultancy
For the recruitment team who, in the judges’ opinion, work well together, take collective responsibility, cope with difficult issues arising during the campaign and consistently achieve their business targets.
Please outline in no more than 500 words how the team is structured, how ideas are developed and how it works together to reach its goals. You should also explain how its work has contributed to the company’s results. You may include up to three examples of initiatives taken. |

Best Training Scheme
For the best training which demonstrates
the companies communication to
the training and development of it's people.
Please outline in no more than 500 words your company’s training schemes explaining the objectives, how the results are assessed and how staff contribute towards it.
You may accompany your entry with an example of any training development literature. |

Young Achiever
This award will go to the person, who in the opinion of the judges, has made a considerable contribution to the business and shows the potential for career progression. The nominated person must be 25 or under as of October 2008 and have worked for your company for a minimum of 12 months.
Please outline in no more than 500 words why you think this person should win the Young Achiever Award, giving examples of their work. Please ensure that you include their date of birth. |

Best Corporate Citizenship Initiative
This award recognises the contribution a company makes to society through its core business activities, its social investment and philanthropy programmes and its engagement in public policy.
Please outline in no more than 500 words your company’s corporate citizenship initiatives/CSRs explaining how they work and giving up to five examples of how the community benefits. |

Best Recruitment Initiative :
Public Sector, Private Sector
and
Small Business
For the individual, team or organisation from the public sector that can demonstrate success from a recruitment initiative.
Please outline in no more than 500 words your recruitment initiative including the concept, issues which arose, implementation, improvement to the business, the number of staff involved and its overall success.
You may accompany your entry with a maximum of three examples of the promotion used to support the initiative. |

Best Recruitment Campaign
This award will be judged on the media used, the campaign’s visual impact, its originality and creativity and whether it promoted a corporate image. Advertising campaign must have run between September 2007 - August 1, 2008.
Please outline in no more than 500 words how the campaign was created, who was involved, how it developed and how well it met the needs of the client in delivering new staff. You may include up to three examples from the campaign. |

This award is to recognise employers who have developed voluntary employee benefits strategies and schemes that deliver high value in terms of employee loyalty, goodwill and motivation.

This award celebrates diversity in the workplace and recognises the distinct characteristics that eployees bring to an organisation.
Please outline in no more thatn 500 words why you think this company should win the diversity awards giving examples of going the extra mile to encourage a diverse workforce. |
