The South West Coast Path partnership is delighted to be associated with the Great South West Walk. Although we have not directly sponsored the event in the financial sense, without the organisations that work together to maintain, develop and promote the Coast Path, the event could not be taking place! In addition local Coast Path managers will be among those leading the walkers on some sections of route.

The Great South West Walk follows the route of the South West Coast Path, one of fifteen National Trails in England and Wales. The Trails are the gold standard of footpaths and bridleways – managed to the highest standards and giving everyone access to our finest countryside.

Natural England, the highway authorities, the National Trust, South West Coast Path Team and South West Coast Path Association have all assisted with various aspects of the Great South West Walk and its associated events.
