St Austell Brewery is delighted to support the Great South West Walk. Founded in 1851, St Austell Brewery is one of Cornwall's oldest and most successful businesses. Still a family-owned, independent business, today St Austell Brewery owns 168 pubs, hotels and inns in Devon and Cornwall and supplies wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks to over 2,000 free trade businesses in South West England.

Many people taking part in the Great South West Walk will no doubt work up a thirst for a pint or two of St Austell Brewery's award-winning cask and bottled beers which are brewed in the Victorian Brewery overlooking St Austell bay. Earlier this year their top selling brand Tribute was voted Champion Beer of the South West at the SIBA SW Beer Festival and was also voted the South West's Favourite cask ale in the Cask Marque / Daily Telegraph "Best of British Beer" award. These awards came on top of the Head Brewer Roger Ryman being named the UK's Brewer of the Year buy the Guild of British Beer Writers.
