THE face of British farming has changed drastically in the past 12 months
- and no more so than in the Westcountry, the nation's most intensive
agricultural region.

Pressures on world markets have seen grain prices rocket, while dairy farmers at long last are receiving realistic payments for their milk.

Beef and sheep farmers are looking for improved returns, which will allow them to invest in their futures, while poultry farmers are facing increased feed prices.

On Thursday February 28 the Western Morning News publishes a special supplement
The Business of Farming, examining the issues confronting Westcountry agriculture.

The supplement is available in hard copy, though our back editions service, and online here in
PDF format.
