The categoryThis category is designed to recognise innovative solutions right across the spectrum of commerce and industry. It is not so much the "size" of the solution but the innovation brought to bear. While an IT solution may well provide a contender, there are so many other areas of business where innovation plays an important role. When you come to the final stage of completing your on-line entry you will be asked to enter the number of employees including contractors. What the judges are looking forCompanies that can demonstrate that they are ahead of their customers' needs in product or service development, or companies able to show how they are innovating in, for example providing individual solutions to individual customers, or in finding innovative uses for existing technology.
