Blushes Hair Salon - Gloucester The second of four photoshoots got underway at Blushes hair salon in Gloucester as the race to find the county’s most gorgeous guy and girl hotted up. The Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo has teamed up with sponsors Blushes and Beechwood Shopping Centre to find the male and female Face of Gloucestershire 2008. The competition, which is also being run in association with Rah and Apero, is open to all aspiring models aged 18-25. The winners will enjoy a host of fantastic prizes, a modelling contract – and of course the accolade of being the Face of Gloucestershire 2008. Top professional photographer Heidi Cartmell photographed some stunning entrants. Heidi runs her own photographic agency, Secret Me, as well as jointly running the Two Front Teeth photographic Agency with John Moore. Heidi said the shoot at Blushes on Friday had been a resounding success with some fantastic entrants who were more than happy to show off their wow factor. “We had a terrific time taking the photos. The venue was very intimate and I think it really helped to relax everyone who turned up and stop them feeling so nervous in front of the camera. “We even had two brothers who were just great . “Everyone was really confident and they were really putting the effort in.
