Hayden Taylor menswear shop, owned by Lance and Debbie Millett, opened recently on the corner of College Court and Westgate Street in Gloucester. It is the only independent designer shop to cater for the younger end of the spectrum in the city. “We are pleased to be involved in The Face of Gloucestershire 2008 because of the opportunity it gives us to reach a young and energetic audience for the clothing brands we offer” said Lance Millett. “As a new menswear store in Gloucester, it is also a great way for us to get to know other businesses in the area and to make friends.” Prior to opening the grade II listed, three-storey building, was completely refurbished to create a luxurious and relaxed environment for the customer. The fixtures and fittings have been finished to the highest standard with vintage furniture, wooden mannequins and vellum suitcases all adding to the distinctive decor. Offered for sale are formal, business and casual clothes and accessories from such well known labels as John Smedley, Mulberry, Hackett, Ralph Lauren, Nicole Farhi, Gant and Raging Bull. The latter brand is owned by rugby star Phil Vickery who opened the officially opened the shop on March 4, 2008.
