This means you can watch your heroes play some of the best rugby league stars the UK has to offer. And to support them properly, let the club shop match you up in full Hull KR regalia and matching outfits.

IF CHARGING your way down the waterway in a tiny, easy-to-tip-over boat is your thing this weekend, try your hand at kayaking.
The Kingston Kayaking Club, founded in 1983 from the old Wolfreton School Canoe Club, offers Hull people a great chance to try their hand at one of the most exhilarating water sports around. Or for those on the south bank, Lincoln Canoe Club (LCC) has a similar offer.
The LCC offers a host of introductory courses during spring and summer for budding canoeists who have not tread the waters before. Membership is open to anybody over 11.

It first opened in September 1994 and has gone through a great deal of development since then to provide a unique blend of different types of artificial climbing surfaces covering more than 1,600sqm. Paintballing:

And thanks to the region’s paintballing groups there will be lots of fun to be had this year. On the south bank, Go Ballistic Messingham is a popular venue. Greyhound Racing:
Five years ago, rugby league outfit Hull FC said an emotional goodbye to the Boulevard and it was not long before the much-loved stadium fell into disrepair.
In fact, the ground was on the verge of being demolished and houses built on the site where players such as Clive Sullivan once thrilled their adoring fans until Hull’s greyhounds returned to reinvigorate the stadium.
Thanks to Hull leisure firm DMQA Holdings, the ground is enjoying a brand new era. There is gourmet food and plasma screens for punters on the dog nights as well as hot showers for players and hydraulic traps for the dogs. A first-class sporting venue once again, the Boulevard, on the Boulevard, west Hull, is now a dream way to spend a good night out.

Cycling:
THE flat plains of East Yorkshire make the area a great place for novice bike riders to get started.
Cycle along quiet country lanes, join well-built tracks and breathe in the fresh country air along the way. One of the most popular long-distance routes is the Trans-Pennine Trail, which runs from Southport on the north west coast to the seaside resort of Hornsea, in East Yorkshire. If you are up for a challenge then take a few days out and do the entire 215-mile trail. But if you are pressed for time, then take the section from Hull to Hornsea. This is part of an old railway line that shut in the 1960s and it could be a route that is just as rewarding as the monster to Southport if you have the weather and good company on your side.
Further afield in North Yorkshire, there’s some great cycling possibilities in Dalby Forest. From easy family trails to more gruelling climbs, there is sure to be something to suit your capability.
But you don’t need to leave the town to find some great cycling possibilities. Pick up a free map from the tourist office in Hull city centre to get you started.
