Farming Christian Link is run and supported by Christian volunteers from the mainstream churches, who have links with farming and rural activities. Its aim is to encourage the Christian faith in farming and rural communities, especially amongst those who may not have easy access to a church.
Originally a postal mission started in 1937 by an Anglican minister, communication is now also via the Web and Email. It offers free Christian literature, prayer support for those in need, a Postal Bible Club for children, and a quarterly Women’s magazine.
One farmer’s wife wrote “The Lord Jesus is alive and He is real. He is only a prayer away. He is my Saviour and wants to be yours too”. He promises the best future ever and never breaks a promise.
