Advice Changes Lives
“We have a number of volunteer and work experience opportunities from helping at the diagnosis end in terms of our access to advice (or Gateway) service, to providing administrative or IT support, help with campaigning or being a specialist adviser. We provide a fastrack training programme for Gateway workers who provide either face to face or call centre access for our callers. We deliver a comprehensive training programme for all advice-giving staff. We train a lot of people for employment – C.A.B. training and experience seems to be highly regarded by employers and those working with us report increased confidence and skills.
Why not contact us on volunteering@swanseacab.org.uk if you want to find out more about opportunities to get involved with the local Citizens Advice Bureau?
If you want access to advice call our call centre on 08444 77 20 20 – local call rate.
We can offer help to resolve neighbour disputes, gain compensation if your holiday hasn’t worked out the way you expected, on how to go bankrupt and what you may be able to claim from an Employment Tribunal and can help with lots, lots more questions.
A national website may provide some answers www.adviceguide.org.uk. At Swansea C.A.B. we have an electronic information point you can look at to search this and other information.” |
