CELEBRATING 90 YEARS OF INDEPENDENT EDUCATION

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make.  At Oakleigh House we aim to help parents make the right choice.

Our location is attractive, at the top of Cwmdonkin Park with sweeping views across Swansea Bay.  There is plenty of outdoor space for play, a nature area to explore, a large multi-purpose hall for dance, drama and P.E. and a new ICT suite in which the children develop their computer skills.

From the first days in Nursery children are nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential.  Expectations are high and a well qualified team of staff ensure that pupils are challenged and supported so that academic excellence is achieved.

Learning does not only take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The Early Bird Club allows busy parents to bring children to school from 8 a.m. and the Extended Day means that children can remain in school until 5.30 p.m. for play activities, clubs and tea. 

Family is very important in Oakleigh House forming the foundation and ethos on which it is based, so that its pupils grow into responsible members of the community.
