St Michael’s Preparatory School

The Preparatory Department  was started in 1982 with only 13 pupils aged between 6 and 8. As the reputation of the school has grown ,so has  its number s, and due to demand, by 1998 we had added a Nursery and Reception class and Pre Prep Department .

Due to its continued success the Preparatory Department has grown into a School in its own right and last year saw its 25th anniversary .  We plan to celebrate with a party at which pupils will be presented with a commemorative medal .

Preparatory School Headteacher , Mrs K.D.Seward, herself an ex pupil , is holding an Open Day on November 26th  2008 for  prospective and existing  parents , all are welcome to attend and meet the staff and the pupils in an informal setting.  Further details are available on the Preparatory School website : prep.stmikes.co.uk
