Aim higher and follow in our footsteps . . .
Mark Davison, BSc (Hons), MRICS – HND in Building
Studies HAVING worked as a materials technician, I
became interested in surveying after a chance
discussion with a quantity surveyor. However,
although I had experience in the field I had no
formal qualifications and so enrolled on the full-time
HND building studies programmeat Bridgend
College. The course was excellent and the staff
really supportive. I then joined Cardiffbased
Chessmann Consulting, and did a degree in quantity
surveying. I now have my approved practising
certificate, giving me chartered surveyor status.
