Trinity sets sights on adult learners
Trinity College is developing a range of courses to encourage more adult learners to study a university qualification. The courses, delivered either through part-time or flexible learning, aim to cater for individuals who need to balance family life and the demands of a career. By developing learners’ skills and knowledge, the courses will help individuals to develop their careers and, most importantly for their employer, they’ll also develop skills that will benefit of their organisation.
Among these courses are a range of Foundation Degrees, which are work-based programmes providing learners with the opportunity to gain a qualification using their own job as the basis for their studies. The College is currently offering Foundation Degrees for those working in Business Information Technology, Management, Community Development, Multi-Agency Working, Tourism Management as well as a qualification in Inclusive Studies for Teaching Assistants within primary and secondary schools.
For information on the range of programmes available including full-time and part-time degree programmes, visit our Open Evening for Adult Learners, Thursday 22 May 3.30 – 6.30pm at the College’s Halliwell Centre.
