Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire is a wonderful county with so much to offer residents and visitors alike. Gentle green hills and valleys dominate the northern and central area, with a coastline of beautiful sands in the south, including the two Blue Flag beaches at Cefn Sidan and Pendine.

A diverse blend of rural and urban communities gives the county its distinctive character, with market towns, historic buildings, castles and gardens mixed with thriving modern commercial centres. As well as supporting an agricultural community, Carmarthenshire boasts a strong manufacturing base with a number of high profile businesses taking advantage of the good road links and industrious work force.

Wales’s biggest state-of-the-art food park, industrial estates and construction firms all support the local economy and provide jobs. A massive regeneration programme is underway with huge investment in new development sites for business and leisure.
