Easter!
What’s it all about then?
Look in the shops, and its quite clear: golden daffodils, fluffy chickens, chocolate rabbits and over-prices eggs. Nothing much lasting or hopeful to write home about, then!
But look at the real story, and there is really good news. In the bleak darkness there is a new dawn. In the most hopeless of situations, new hope, In the face of death, life – a life so full of life that not even death can defeat it.
You can stick with the eggs if you like, personally I would rather have hope!
Visit a church near you this Easter to get the real story of Easter, and touch the hope it brings.

10.30am – All age service in Church followed by Walk of Witness around Wellswood village.
11.30am – Walk of Witness down Babbacombe Road to the Harbour for a United Act of Worship with other churches (12.30pm).
12-3pm – 3 Hour Service in Church.
7.00pm – “at the foot of the cross” – A reflection in word and music

8.00am – Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
