QuayWest.Simply splashing

WITH the swimsuit season  just around the corner,  Quaywest waterpark opens  its gates for another season  of splashing fun from now   to September 5.

With eight slides, two play  zones for kiddies and a  swimming pool, the park offers  an exhilarating day of fun for  the whole family.

Challenge yourself to the  ultimate freefall:  riders take  the 65ft plunge of the improved  Devil’s Drop alongside the  Kamikaze, whose gradients  have been made steeper for a  quicker, more daring and  splashier descent.  Dive in and  ride the torrents of the raging  rapids, or feel the rush of  adrenalin on the swirling  sidewinder.  Here constant 80°F  water awaits those seeking  some fun. Refresh your taste of  adventure, be bold and take  the plunge by a host of rides  and slides!

Quaywest waterpark is a  step away from the  picturesque beach of  Goodrington which provides  the ideal setting for a family  day out. Other activities in the  area include a go kart track,  for which you can buy a  discounted ticket when  purchasing your Quaywest  pass.

Andrea Harkin, operations  manager, says: “Despite the  bad weather at the start of the  season, it has not discouraged  the sales of our season passes  and we are really looking  forward to more sunshine in  July and August so people can  make the most of the park.”

Open to September from  11am to 5pm, and 10am to  6pm throughout July and  August.  Season passes are  very popular with  local  people as they allow  unlimited access to the  park. There is a limited  availability, so hurry and  don’t miss out on a summer  of fun.
